The focus of my clinical work is partnering with couples to build foundational skills that set them up for success over the long term. By integrating advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help couples move beyond surface-level advice to understand the deeper emotional patterns and attachment needs that drive their connection. I have transferred this therapeutic experience into brief, skills-focused workshops to make what I teach in therapy more accessible to couples who either don't need or don't want to invest in longer term therapy right now.
I am passionate about supporting the long-term health and wellness of families through early support of couples with skills for communication and conflict, relational connection and emotional regulation, and courage to dig into topics like sex, race, money, and other difficult and vulnerable areas.
-
My workshop content is specifically designed for couples who I consider to be in "early" relationships. This means that couples are either dating, engaged, or married within the last 5 years (or so!). If you're not sure if this is you, feel free to reach out and ask!
You will be a good fit for my workshops if you are willing to engage in intentional conversations with your partner and are open to practicing new skills.
Couples of any sexual orientation, race, or faith background are welcome and encouraged to participate. Please keep in mind that content has been designed for couples in monogamous relationships.
-
I will use a variety of tools for teaching content including: lecture-style teaching of content with metaphors & research, facilitation of reflection with your partner, and structured activities to help you and your partner practice skills.
You will be asked to introduce yourself at the beginning of the workshop and occasionally offered space to give feedback after exercises, but otherwise will be predominately interacting with your partner.
-
Currently, couples can sign up for the waitlist to get a priority spot once registration opens. This will give you 48-hour access to register before registration is opened to the public.
Once you register, you will receive an email within about 24 business hours asking you to sign and return a consent form to participate. Your registration will not be considered complete until you’ve returned this form. -
Although I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, the purpose of these workshops is not to provide therapy.
The purpose of these workshops is to provide educational content, teach tools, and facilitate activities to help you reflect with your partner on your relationship. If you find that you and/or your partner need ongoing support in the form of individual or couples therapy, I can provide referral suggestions to support these needs.
